WINTER

Clean up plants, by removing old brown leaves and stem. Also remove any diseased or damaged leaves. Keep a lookout for fungal and bacterial disease and any pests.

Keep moist, do not allow plants to dry out. Avoid giving fertiliser during the winter months. Use the end of October as a rough guide to stop feeding and start again in March.

Protect plants from frost, if plants are in the cold greenhouse, cover with a double layer of horticultural fleece on frosty days and nights.

The Disas that are kept indoors require a coolish position (not into warm room) and adequate daylight.

Remember Disas are making roots during the winter months, so require some daylight.
